DeKalb County United is thrilled to announce the signing of goalkeeper Connor Waite for the 2025 season! The Naperville native, fresh off his time at Naperville Central High School and committed to UW-Platteville, is ready to bring his shot-stopping skills to the DKCU back line.
A Chelsea fan with a passion for the game, Connor was drawn to DKCU for its high level of players and incredible coaching staff—a perfect environment to develop both as a player and as a person. We love that mindset!
When he's not making big saves, Connor dreams of watching a World Cup match in person and wishes he had spent more time snowboarding as a kid. With a focus on ambition over comfort, a preference for healthy food over fast food, and a love for small gatherings over big parties, he’s already fitting right into the DKCU culture.
At just 18, Connor is thinking long-term—when he looks back at his life at 80, what will matter most to him is the legacy he leaves behind—both in soccer and in life. That’s the kind of player we love to have wearing the green and gold.
