DeKalb County, meet your new playmaker!
DKCU is thrilled to announce the signing of Giuseppe Avendano for the 2025 season! The dynamic winger/attacking midfielder from Saint Charles is set to bring pace, creativity, and an eye for goal to the DKCU attack.
Avendano, known as Seppe to his teammates, is currently showcasing his talents at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he competes at the collegiate level. A skilled and fearless attacker, he caught our eye with his technical ability, vision, and knack for creating chances out of nothing.
"The competitive practice environment and group of guys that all want to improve" drew Seppe to DKCU, and we can’t wait to see him in action. He’s battled through adversity, including a hip injury that limited his senior year of high school, but his determination and skill have only grown stronger.
Off the field, Seppe dreams of traveling to a new country and is all about ambition, big parties, and fast food (we’ll let Dr. Pepper slide). But on the pitch? He’s laser-focused on making an impact and helping DKCU climb to new heights in 2025.
