DeKalb County United is buzzing with excitement as we welcome Sean Gannon to the squad for the 2025 season! The 21-year-old defensive powerhouse from Virgil, Illinois is bringing his talent, ambition, and love for the game to DKCU, and we can’t wait to see him in action.
A product of Heartland Community College, Sean is all about playing hard, having fun, and leveling up his skills—which makes him the perfect fit for our club. When asked why DKCU?, his answer was simple: “To have fun while enhancing my skills playing the game that I love.” That’s the kind of passion we love to see!
Sean’s got big energy both on and off the pitch. He’s a fast-food-loving, big-party kind of guy who dreams of traveling to South America and values the memories he’s made throughout life. Sounds like he’s already a perfect match for the DKCU family!
