Big news, DKCU fans! We’re thrilled to announce that Joey Rodino is returning to DeKalb County United for the 2025 season! The Illinois Wesleyan midfielder made a big impact in 2024, and now he’s back to help DKCU chase silverware this summer.
The Palatine native brings creativity, composure, and a fierce competitive edge to our midfield. Last season, a few dropped points kept us from lifting the trophy—and that just didn’t sit right with Joey. He’s back to set things right and push DKCU to the top!
“DKCU is the perfect summer team. The high-level training, top-quality coaching, and talented teammates made my decision easy,” Joey said. “There’s unfinished business, and I can’t wait to get started.”
With his vision and work rate, Joey will be a key player in the heart of the action. We can’t wait to see him bossing the midfield again this summer!
